| In 2007 Eddie Van Halen teamed up with Fender
Musical Instruments to create the ultimate EVH collector's item: The
EVH Frankenstein Replica Guitar. This example is property of
The Music Zoo's collection, and is available for viewing at our
store in New York. Every detail from Eddie's legendary
striped, mostly hand-built battle axe has been recreated: single
volume knob (that says tone), irregular bridge pickup cavity, 1971
quarter mounted near the bridge (at one time was mounted under the
Floyd Rose), masking tape "pick holder" on the lower bout, truck
reflectors adorning the back, the screw eye strap holders, and the 3
spring tremolo configuration (straight for the treble and middle,
angled on the bass side) just to name a few. Not to mention
every nick, ding, and cigarette burn exactly reproduced. Each
authentic EVH Frankenstein has the holographic stickers inside the
neck pocket and on the back of the neck base, as shown. Only
300 guitars were produced. This one came with a "#4" sticker
on the back of the headstock, but to our knowledge they weren't
specifically numbered, so your guess is as good as ours what that
means! We hope you enjoy these very high-resolution images of
