Return Policy |

We offer a 72-hour approval period with a
money back guarantee on all guitars we ship.
If the guitar doesn't meet your expectations
once you receive it, just give us a call and
let us know why. You can send it back to us
for an exchange or a refund (less shipping.)
All we ask is that you're careful and, if
you're not sure, don't take your new guitar
out on a gig that first night --any
blemished guitar we get back will be subject
to a 15% restocking fee. |

Payments/Deposits |
For sales in the store we accept all major
credit cards -VISA/Mastercard/Discover/American
Express, Good Old Cash, Personal Check
(lessons only -no merchandise), Cashier's
Check, Money Order, Gift Certificate
Customers ordering via phone/internet may
use all major credit cards -VISA/Mastercard/Discover/American
Express, Personal Check (must clear account
before we ship), Cashier's Check, Money
Order, Paypal, and Bank Wire Transfer (coordinates
provided upon request).
We require a $500 deposit to hold any guitar
in the store for 30 days. To order a
guitar that is not in stock, or, a custom
piece, the deposit must be at least $500 or
20% of the total, whichever is greater, and
is non-refundable. |

Shipping and Packaging |
Our standard shipping rate for most guitars
and basses within the continental United
States is $45.00 including the packaging and
insurance. For destinations outside the 48
states, please contact us for an estimate.
Our usual service is UPS Ground, although
upgraded service is available for an extra
fee. We can also ship with FedEx and DHL if
it is more convenient for you. Tracking
numbers are available from us after 6 pm on
the day your instrument is shipped, and over
90% of orders are shipped within 24 hours of
being placed.
We use the same shipping cartons the major
manufacturers do, but we go the extra mile
to provide the protection inside the case
that your purchase needs. For air shipments
the strings are loosened to prevent stress,
and when a guitar needs special help inside
the case (such as vintage reissue guitars
and cases) we will provide extra padding. If
your climate is very cold when your package
is delivered, please wait 6 to 8 hours
before opening the case to protect the
finish, especially with lacquer finishes.

School Band
Instrument Rentals |
The Music Zoo is your one-stop rental center
for most school band instruments, including
violin (all sizes), flute, clarinet,
saxophone, trombone, and trumpet. We rent
excellent-quality student instruments on a
school-year basis, with a rent-to-buy
option. We also carry all the
accessories you'll need to start making
music right away. We carry Rico, Rico Royal
and Vandoren reeds, mouthpieces, cleaning
accessories, and beginner/intermediate
method books. We also sell new and used band
and orchestra instruments.
The Music Zoo is also where you can rent
Public Address (PA) systems for all
occasions, at a daily/weekend rate. We can
provide everything you need, including mics
