We realize it can be hard to purchase an item without the opportunity to try it first, so we offer 72 hour approval on all internet and phone orders starting from the time you receive your shipment. If for any reason you wish to return your item, you may do so within the approval period for a full refund (minus shipping). Please contact a member of our staff to notify us that you will be returning the item. Be sure to re-pack it in the original shipping carton and insure the item for the full amount you paid for it. We cannot be responsible for the merchandise from the time you receive it until it is safely returned to us.
This policy exists mainly for guitars and amplifiers which can be tough to purchase sight unseen, though we do extend it to all products we sell. This return policy is not intended to be a rental for weekend gigs or recording sessions, so items that are returned with any damage or wear, and/or items not in the original manufacturer's packaging, will be subject to a re-stocking fee at our discretion.
If your item arrives with damage, wear, or any issue not previously disclosed by The Music Zoo, please retain all packaging and shipping materials and contact us immediately. Do not send the item back, allow us to assist you first. If the item is deemed by The Music Zoo to be damaged in shipping we will make a claim and it will be picked up by the original carrier. Otherwise, we will arrange for the item to be picked up and you will receive a replacement immediately at no extra cost, or if the item is not replaceable, you will receive a full refund including all freight charges.

Items purchased in person at our brick-and-mortar store may be returned within 72 hours for store credit only.
