“I’m not a guitar hero,” says Jimmy Page, in what may be the biggest understatement of 2010. Well, if he isn’t, who is? According to Led Zeppelin’s legendary guitarist, the late Les Paul. “I can’t think of a greater guitar icon than someone who has the musical intellect to change what was there before, and take music in another direction. That’s a guitar hero for me.”
