John Petrucci has a long history with Ernie Ball/Music Man, and we were excited to see the latest Petrucci model at NAMM 2012.  The JP12 comes in 6 and 7-string versions (7-string pictured).  The basswood body is sporting a nice new color, Cherry Sugar, but the most significant tweak comes in the piezo saddles.  They’ve been revamped to eliminate the seating issue present in earlier models.

   I belive it wad that when the strings wete down tuned the saddles had some noticeable vibration. I like the playability of the jp line but when prıce comes into play i have found it easier to just build my own sevens that have my tension needs in mind.
