NAMM 2012 There’s a new Kirk Hammett guitar in town, and this is it. The ESP Kirk Hammett KH-DC will be available in both ESP and LTD versions and is a double cutaway carved-top guitar with a classy flamed maple top. There were a couple on display, and this one had a scalloped fingerboard for ease of fretting above the 17th fret.

That looks awesome! I love the Les Paul like double cut design, flamed top and color along with the Sperzel locking tuners and scaloped 17and up fretboard! I dying to test drive one then make a purchace(if it stands up) and play the snot out of it. Oh, Crome covered EMGs, sweet!
Sure looks like a killer axe, kinda strange shape for a metal player like Hammett, bet it must have an amazing sound though. Love the EMGs by the way, more guitars should have them cromed this way.
Stunning guitar…however “right out the gate”, I’m getting rid of those EMG’s in putting in different pickups: Gibson Classic 57 & a Classic 57 Plus…….NOW WE’RE TALKING !!!!!
