Video: The All New Fender USA Acoustic Guitars

No one questions the fact that Fender’s Custom Shop in Corona, California makes some of the best solidbody electric guitars in all the land.  But what about acoustic guitars?  Over the years that hasn’t been an area that most folks associate with Fender, at least not in terms of high end guitars.  Well, that’s all about to change.  Led by legendary builder Ren Ferguson and product specialist Tim Shaw, Fender is gearing up to make some seriously awesome Custom Shop acoustic guitars out of the Guild factory in New Hartford, Connecticut.  The Music Zoo will be on board for some custom runs and one-offs in 2013 and we expect to work closely with both of these gentlemen on some great new products.  In this video from the rooftop of NAMM 2013, Ren and Tim give us a glimpse of what’s to come.
