This Fender Stratocaster Made Out Of Cardboard Is Mindblowing!
Posted on by Walter Bryant
The folks over at Signal Snowboards in Huntington Beach, California have a ton of fun making things out of cardboard, but the last thing we expected was for them to translate that passion into building a guitar! This episode documents their quest along with a master builder from the Fender Custom Shop to see if paper has the ability to handle the look, feel and sound of one of the world’s most recognizable guitars, the Fender Stratocaster. A master builder can make just about anything look good, but will it sound good? It’s a tall order and with roughly 250lbs of torque put on the neck of a guitar from the strings, it seems nearly impossible! Watch the video and find out if this crazy idea turned reality met the grade!
