Legendary Musician Prince Passes Away at Age 57

The Associated Press has recently reported that the legendary musician known as Prince, has died at age 57. According to several reports, his body was found at his Minneapolis estate/recording studio earlier this morning on April, 21st. The singer/songwriter was hospitalized only a few days prior for severe complications of the flu, and was later released.

Known for his identifiable voice, soulful guitar playing, memorable performances, and unique taste for fashion, Prince maintained his relevancy in modern music, paving the way for many musicians we hear today. His sound and style has traversed generations, whilst holding a place in a number of genres over the years. Prince has remained an icon and has received a number of prestigious achievement awards for his incredible body of work.

The news of his death comes as a shock to all of us at The Music Zoo. We extend our earnest condolences to the family, friends, and countless fans of the legendary musician. Prince is survived by his seemingly endless playlist of emotive music, but the world of music mourns once again. We’ve lost a great one.
