Gretsch Guitars

Gretsch is one of the oldest and most storied brands in the history of guitar making. In 1883, a young German immigrant living Brooklyn, NY named Friedrich Gretsch opened a small instrument shop selling banjos and drums. However, he soon died, leaving the business to his teenage son Fred. Fred Gretsch turned the company into one of the biggest importer/exporters of musical instruments by 1916, and the "Great Gretsch Sound" would become heard the world over for the next 80+ years. Today, Gretsch guitars are distributed by Fender® Musical Instruments Corp., and have returned to the glory they earned in the '50s and '60s. The guitars pictured here are in stock and individually photographed. We will ship Gretsch® products within the United States only.

With features such as a black finish, maple top on a chambered mahogany body, two DynaSonic pickups, a rocking bar bridge, and silver plexi pickguard, the guitar looks just like the one Harrison was seen making history with.
