1974 Gibson ES-175 Electric Guitar Sunburst - Used
Here's a vintage Gibson with lots of classic hollowbody tone, and a great vibe to it as well. This is a pre-owned 1974 ES-175 with a sunburst finish. This ES-175 is built of a laminated maple body with a mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, 20 frets, 24-3/4" scale length, multi-ply top body binding with single-ply back binding, two humbuckers with individual volume and tone controls, a trapeze tailpiece with a rosewood bridge, Gibson tulip tuners, and nickel hardware.

The guitar has accumulated finish checking around the body over the years with some light dings here and there. There is a small amount of separation around the neck joint that does not appear to be spreading. The frets have a low profile to them, which along with the flatwounds the guitar is currently strung with make for an excellent feel, great for those quick jazzy runs up the neck.

Gibson Custom 50th Anniversary '60 Slim Neck ES-335TD Antique Vintage Sunburst
The original ES-335TD (“TD” for “thinline, double-pickup”) was a raging hit simply because it addressed so many different guitarists’ needs in one new design. The arched top and f-holes appealed to jazz and dance-band players who were still attached to the look of traditional Gibson “jazz boxes,” but who appreciated advancements such as a thinline, double-cutaway body.

With its historically accurate tonewoods, electronics, and hardware, the Custom Shop 50th Anniversary 1960 ES-335TD packs all the tonal versatility of the original. Features include a no-wire ABR-1 bridge, tortoise shell side dot material, and a neck that has been completely re-shaped and re-tooled based on scans of a historic 1960 with period correct truss rod channel depth and period correct periphery.

These instruments are limited to 100 pieces worldwide.

Gibson Custom ES-330 Hollowbody Electric Guitar Vintage Natural
There's something magical that happens when you combine a hollow body with a great set of P-90 pickups. We can't explain it, but we love it, and Gibson hit the nail on the head with the new Custom Shop ES-330. With its Vintage Natural finish, the guitar has a great look to it, with lots of slightly-aged mojo right out of the case. The underwound P-90 pickups sound unbelievable as well, giving the guitar a good amount of clean headroom that breaks up the harder you pick, or push your amp. The ES-330 is a recreation of a classic Gibson built with Custom Shop class and quality.

This CS-356 also has one of our favorite Gibson features; the elusive split block inlay. We can't explain it, we just think that split blocks take any guitar from a 10 to an 11. The slim taper neck profile and 12" radius make it a great player as well.

Ever since 1958, when Gibson introduced the first semi-hollowbody electric guitar, the timeless ES-335, the company’s engineers have been fine-tuning the concept of combining the classic look of a hollowbody with the performance of a solidbody. The CS-356 achieves that goal. It features a single piece mahogany body that is tonally carved to include the back, rims and center block from one piece of wood. Added to that are the figured top, and ebony fretboard to give the guitar a classy look with plenty of functionality.
