Ramirez Guitars

Very few names have been as influential in the development and history of the guitar as the name José Ramírez. The family tradition was born around the year 1870, when a 12 year-old boy began an apprenticeship at a local builder’s workshop. He worked to develop his skills and in 1882 he founded the José Ramírez workshop. Now in its fourth generation, the Ramírez name continues to be the gold standard by which all other Spanish classical and flamenco guitars are measured.

Used 2012 Jose Ramirez 125 Años German Spruce Classical Guitar Natural
Jose Ramirez has been making some of the worlds finest classical guitars for over 120 years, and this pre-owned 125 Años model is no exception! Gorgeous Indian Rosewood back and sides provide a full ranging tone, and the solid German Spruce top provides a tight, focused projection that simply has to be heard to be believed. The Mahogany neck is topped with a 19-fret Black Ebony fingerboard for a slick look. Just the right amount of sustain and brightness let everything from Giuliani to Sor to Brouwer come out of the instrument with ease. Gold plate tuners ensure you'll always be in tune. This instrument is in overall excellent condition with some very light surface marks on the back. The original owner installed a cling-on finish protector on the treble-side waist where the body meets the player's leg.
