The Gibson Custom Shop Roadshow Trailer pulled into Little Neck, NY again this September.  At The Music Zoo, we knew we were in for a great time.  And a huge crowd of people in the New York area also knew what to expect: FREE GUITARS.  For the second consecutive year, The Zoo sponsored a Gibson guitar giveaway from the steps of the Traveling Exhibit.  This year the lucky winners walked away with a '57 Gibson Goltop VOS, and a Custom Shop CF-100E Acoustic.  Click the picture on the right to browse the photo gallery of the afternoon.

But, the excitement didn't end with free stuff.  The truly devoted Gibson fanatics were there to meet Gibson Guru Tom Murphy, who brought the prototype of the Music Zoo-exclusive Gibson Custom Shop Murphy Ultra Aged Les Paul.  The prototype is a Bourbon Burst '59 Flametop, and was a smash hit with the crowd.  The Music Zoo will be offering Murphy Ultra Aged Les Pauls in '54-'57 Goldtops, and in '58-'60 Bursts.
