| At The Music Zoo, we are proud to offer the highest quality music lessons in the Queens/Long Island area. All of our lessons are taught on a one-to-one basis so that each student gets an individual learning plan catered to his/her specific needs. To ensure that our instructional center continues to be the best it can be, we ask that all our students and parents read and adhere to the policies below. | |||

Cancellations and Rescheduling |

| Once on our schedule,
your lesson will take place once a week. You will keep that day and
time on a continuous basis. If you are unable to attend a scheduled
lesson, please contact our lesson coordinator as soon as possible. We
allow for rescheduling of cancelled lessons, but to be eligible you
must notify us of your cancellation at least 24 hours in advance of
your lesson time. You can call us at (718)631-9292 to speak with the
lesson coordinator or to leave a voicemail after business hours. You
can also email us at
lessons@themusiczoo.com. A cancelled lesson may be rescheduled to any available time on our schedule except your own regular time slot. In other words, the payment already made for the cancelled lesson cannot be moved forward to your next unpaid appointment. The rescheduled appointment must be a unique day or time above and beyond your regularly scheduled lesson. We will work with you to find a convenient time for your make-up lesson. Please try to avoid canceling your lesson on the day it is scheduled –you will be charged and also forfeit the right to reschedule that lesson. If we don’t hear from you at all, we reserve the right to remove you from the schedule. We must be specifically notified in accordance with the cancellation policy if you should like to be completely removed from the schedule. |

| Lessons at The Music
Zoo are paid for on a monthly basis, with payment being taken on the
first scheduled lesson date of each calendar month for each weekly
lesson contained in that month. This monthly fee may be
automatically billed to any major credit card, or, you may pay
monthly at the counter using credit card, cash, or personal check
(returned checks subject to $35 fee). Your time slot will remain intact from month to month, so please do not assume that if you have not paid for the upcoming month that you are not scheduled. You’ll have your time slot until you explicitly instruct us to remove your name from it. |

| All of the teachers at
The Music Zoo have attained a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an
accredited college or university, and uphold a high standard of
professionalism with all students. One of the reasons our teachers
are so proficient is that they are also busy performers. We do our
very best to provide consistency, but in the event that your regular
teacher is unable to be present on a particular day, we will provide
a substitute from our pool of qualified instructors.
The Music Zoo is an independent
corporation which does not operate according to the schedule of the
public/private school system. We are open during all school breaks,
and will remain open on snow days unless we see fit to close the
store. We will do our best to notify you of a store closure. In the
event you choose not to attend lessons due to the weather, you will
be charged in accordance with our cancellation policy. |
