A store favorite: the Gibson Custom Shop Flying V Custom. This custom one-off instrument has a mahogany body and neck with an ebony fretboard and pearl block inlays. Also features multi-ply binding on the body and headstock, single-ply on the neck. The 490R humbucker in the neck position gives the guitar a very creamy and slightly bassier tone, while switching to the 498T in the bridge kicks this Flying V Custom into overdrive and lead tone heaven. The Faded Cherry finish allows you to see the quality of the wood underneath, and there are lots of interesting patterns in the grain.
