Built in traditional Firebird fashion with its mahogany body, set-neck construction mahogany neck, a baked maple fretboard, and mini Grover kidney tuners, the guitar is made to sound great before you even throw in the electronics. Coil tapping the P-90s allows you to get a cool and twangy single-coil tone as well as that fat "P-90 through a tube amp" tone we all know and love.
