This one-off instrument from the Gibson Custom Shop features a beautiful maple top finished in faded cherry. The top is just transparent enough to allow some grain in the maple to be seen, and the neck has that fat and full feeling of a '58 Les Paul, which we're big fans of at the Zoo. It is modeled after an original 1958 Les Paul nicknamed "Sweet Cherry" from the Beauty of the 'Burst book.
