The 5th Avenue Jazz is a very well-named guitar, as it was designed by Godin with the Jazz guitar player in mind. Features on the 5th Avenue Jazz include an arched Canadian wild cherry top and back, Canadian wild cherry sides, an ebony fretboard, 16" fretboard radius, and a Godin mini-humbucker in the neck position. Thanks to the high-gloss piano black finish, the guitar has great looks as well as playability. The mini-humbucker provides a bit of bite to the tone, and rolling back the volume can take some of the grit away. Overall an excellent instrument that can definitely do a bit more than just Jazz.
