Jeff Beck...Eric Clapton...The Who...Simon and Garfunkel, just a few of the musicians that world-renowned session bassist Pino Palladino has laid down grooves for throughout his career. To celebrate the bassist and his skill and achievements, the Fender Custom Shop has released this P-Bass made exactly to Palladino's specifications, including a fiesta red finish that has been worn and torn to simulate the look of a played-in vintage instrument, a select alder body, rosewood fretboard with vintage style frets, a custom-wound P-Bass pickup, and 4-ply tortoise shell pickguard. Also to Palladino's liking, the bass is strung with Thomastik-Infeld® flatwound strings, for that signature mellow jazzy tone right out of the box.
