Not to be stopped at only acoustic instruments, Taylor has now stepped into the world of solidbody electric guitars, creating some incredibly beautiful and tonally fantastic instruments. This is a Taylor SB1-S model in an aged cherry sunburst finish. The great looking finish is on top of a quilt maple top and mahogany body, and other features include a sapele neck with an ebony fretboard, 15" fretboard radius, mother of pearl dot fretboard inlays, a hardtail aluminum bridge and Taylor tuners. For electronics, the SB1-S has two vintage Alnico humbuckers and a five-way switch to provide the guitar with some great tones.
