Inspired by the earliest Pre-Production Charvel guitars, this Music Zoo Exclusive has many of the subtle features you'll remember including a non-recessed backplate, 21 fret neck, walnut dots, brass side dots, purpleheart plug, and trussrod nut with drilled center. The neck carve is exacting to an original Pre-Production Charvel from our own collection. The guitar even ships with an extra brass neckplate and long/straight tremolo arm to achieve that Pre-Pro look.
For this piece we chose a killer Grabber Orange paint job, a la Parnelli Jones, that reminded us of a friend's original 80s Pre-Production San Dimas "No. 7". Beyond the small logo and crown tuners which were reserved by Charvel for the Grover Jackson Legacy run, this guitar is period correct and certified by the original and current members of the Charvel Custom Shop.
