The Martin 000-18 is constructed of a few different high quality tone woods, and it shows in the beautiful sound that this acoustic guitar projects. The appearance is kept nice and clean looking with the solid sitka spruce top with black boltaron binding, and the grain in the mahogany back is excellent. The smaller scale length of 24.9" on the 000-18 puts less tension on the strings, giving the guitar a nice loose feel and makes quick chord changes and licks very easy.
