2018 NAMM Display R8-Concept Singlecut Fretless Electric Bass Guitar Frosted Carrara White Item Description

Ritter Instruments produce some of the most gorgeous guitars and basses in today's musical instrument landscape, and not only are they pieces of art, but their design, functionality, and playability is of the very highest quality.

This is a R8-Concept which was on display at the 2018 NAMM Show, and the model is built in very limited numbers, one of which is on display at the Boston Museum of Modern Art. This is a fretless R8 bass that looks like it could be a luxury automobile as much as it is a musical instrument. The graceful design is control-less, with a 32" scale length and a fretless ebony fingerboard with RMC Piezo-bridge and direct to for a crystal-clear fretless tone. The bass is built with an alder body and maple neck, with a smooth feeling frosted white finish. Ritter himself acknowledges that the bass isn't the most versatile instrument on the planet, but what it doesn't have in versatility it makes up in bounds with being a perfectly designed, high class instrument that excels in fingerstyle playing.

Includes: Road Case, COA, Paperwork, Adjustment Tools
