If there’s a Les Paul model to meet the needs of different players, the Less Plus was created for those who love the Les Paul design but need a guitar that weighs less and has a comfortable feel. Hence the name of this model. It uses a slimmer, modern weight-relieved mahogany back with a ribcage contour that allows for comfort and a less heavy and less bulky guitar. It really feels comfortable to play, but there’s no mistaking that it’s a Les Paul guitar! The Less Plus uses a great looking B+ figured maple top and a rounded neck profile that feels great in your hand.

Materials and construction are of a typical Les Paul: mahogany body and neck, a one-piece rosewood fretboard, and the aforementioned maple top, all of which create the renowned warmth, sustain, and midrange wallop with nice top-end that are signature Les Paul. Electronics revolve around ’57 Classic (neck) and ’57 Plus (bridge) humbucking pickup, and features include coil-splitting and a 15-dB boost via the mini-toggle switch. The Less Plus includes the 2015 updates that Gibson has made to its lineup, including a brass nut and G-Force (formerly Min-Etune) automatic tuning. Although the Less Plus is lighter and emphasizes comfort, it’s nonetheless a heavy hitter when it comes to Les Pauls! This pre-owned Less Plus is in overall excellent condition and may have some light scratches or pickmarks, but is in otherwise great shape cosmetically and playing wise!
