Excalibur Ultra Blues Velours Noir Item Description

This is an Excalibur Ultra Blues guitar from Vigier with a new for 2018 Velours Noir finish, which sees the model with a flame maple top as well as a super slick satin finished maple neck that's been stained black, and a stealthy transparent black stain that lets all of the flame figuring show through. The guitar features an alder body that has been naturally aged, so it's extremely resonant, toneful and solid. The maple neck has also been naturally dried for 3 years, and uses Vigiers 10/90 system- where in lieu of a truss rod, the guitar has a strip of carbon that keeps the wood extremely stable. This Excaliber Ultra Blues is loaded with a trio of Amber pickups in a HSS configuration and features a Vigier hardtail bridge. Other features include over-sized locking tuners, zero fret, and chrome hardware.
