Used 2016 Custom Shop Korina D-28 Acoustic Guitar Natural Item Description
This is a pre-owned martin Custom Shop dreadnought 14-fret acoustic with a sitka spruce top and beautiful pieces of korina for the back and sides of the instrument, originally sold by The Music Zoo and back in overall excellent condition to find itself a new home. The guitar only has light pick marks on the top as evidence of previous play time. All woods were selected by Danny Brown, who has been at the Custom Shop for a number of years and he has probably tapped more pieces of wood than most of us have played guitars. Danny was searching for woods that would give the guitar a walnut or mahogany-like feel, and once the instrument was complete – he (and us) are happy to see that it’s tonally similar too, with lots of focus in the midrange that helps the instrument cut through.
