el-cabron-guitars-custom-lucha-libre
El Cabron Guitars Custom "Papel Picado"

This is an exciting guitar from El Cabron - the company founded by Mike Eldred - a legend in the guitar industry and a longtime friend of The Music Zoo. Mike was the very first employee of Grover Jackson who went on to have his hands on some of the most famous Jackson guitars of all-time, going on to run the Fender Custom Shop for many years - leading many incredible projects and new guitar innovations!

This is a guitar features all of the things we know Mike loves; an oil-finished maple neck with brass side dots, a powerful pickup that has tons of attitude (20k of it!) and the well-known Eldred 'cocked wah' capacitor mod, now available in a push-push volume control. Each El Cabron guitar is a one of one creation, made in small batches with a theme running through each.

This El Cabron guitar features a theme of Papel Picado art. Papel Picado is Mexican folk art that is done by cutting elaborate designs into tissue paper. These are chained together usually and hung during holidays and on ofrendas or altars. For this guitar, Eldred wanted to reflect that folk art, and also added an outline of the flag of Mexico on the back in gold pearl!

Includes: Mono Case and Certificate of Authenticity

Solidbody Electric Guitar

7 lbs, 7oz.

.960" Neck Profile at 1st Fret

1.010" Neck Profile at 12th Fret

'Papel Picado" Handpainted Finish

Alder Body

Maple Neck with ‘Dull V’ Profile

25.5" Scale Length

6105 Fretwire

Brass Side Dots Bi-Flex Butt Adjust Truss Rod

Custom Handwound 20k Esquire Pickup

Volume and Greasebucket Tone Control

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0916/0836/files/69367_El_Cabron_Guitars_Custom_Esquire_Lucha_Libre_1.jpg?v=1791819332
