The back is framed by multi-ply binding. The top features multi-ply binding with abalone and an abalone rosette.   The mahogany neck has a Historic AJ™ profile. The bound rosewood fretboard is equipped with 19 standard frets and adorned with mother-of-pearl arrow inlays. The single-ply bound headstock proudly displays the vintage script-style “The Gibson” logo, which is also inlaid in mother of pearl. The headstock comes equipped with a bone nut and gold-plated Grover® open-back tuning machines.   The Advanced Jumbo features a firestripe pickguard. The rectangular, closed-slot rosewood bridge is equipped with a bone saddle and TUSQ® bridge pins and features pyramid carvings on the bridge wings, just like the earliest Gibson flat-top models. The Advanced Jumbo Anniversary Limited Edition is finished in a historic Cremona Burst gloss nitrocellulose lacquer and comes craftory-equipped with L.R. Baggs VTC electronics, with a piezo under-saddle sensor and active preamp. The soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls are easily accessible by the player while remaining all but invisible to the audience.
