Ideal for folk and fingerpicking, the L-00 Standard beautifully captures the heritage of those exemplary early instruments, now with the Gibson-exclusive, custom-voiced Baggs HiFi DNA pickup system for amplified sound that preserves the guitar’s individual character along with every nuance of the player’s touch. Boasting exceptional balance, the L-00 has impressive projection not commonly found in comparable small-body guitars.

Early adopters included Delta blues players such as Robert Johnson, while nearly a century later, the model has found a home with contemporary performers including Olivia Rodrigo. Its compact, parlor-sized body is smaller and more comfortable than a dreadnought-sized acoustic such as the J-45, with a narrower waist providing a focused, nuanced voice with a leaner, tighter bass response that sits naturally in a mix. This responsive design is especially well suited to fingerstyle playing and blues, while remaining versatile enough for other genres and playing styles.

The L-00 Standard pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides. Traditional scalloped X-bracing supports the top and contributes to its balanced tone and excellent dynamic range. On the outside, single-ply binding outlines both the top and back, complementing the hand-sprayed Vintage Sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer finish and giving the guitar the instantly recognizable appearance of a classic Gibson acoustic.

Inside, the L-00 Standard is now equipped with the all-new Gibson-exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA pickup system. This active system uses two lightweight sensors mounted on the internal bridge plate. The sensors are matched with optimized individual preamps to deliver full-bodied, amplified acoustic tone that lets the guitar’s character and personality come through when amplified, with no impact on the unamplified tone. The Baggs HiFi DNA system offers comparable gain-before-feedback to an under-saddle pickup. The system also includes soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls that are quick and easy to access while playing, and all but invisible to your audience.

Includes: Hardshell Case and Paperwork

Acoustic-Electric Guitar

3 lbs 14 oz.

.850" Neck Thickness at 1st Fret

.910" Neck Thickness at 9th Fret

Sitka Spruce Top

Mahogany Back and Sides

Slim Taper Profile Mahogany Neck

Rosewood Fretboard

24-3/4" Scale Length

19 Frets

1.73” Nut Width

TUSQ Nut

Mother of Pearl Dots Inlays

Traditional Hand-Scalloped X-Bracing

Single-Ply Top and Single-Ply Back Binding

Mini Grover Rotomatic Tuners

Baggs HiFi DNA Pickup System

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0916/0836/files/68950_Gibson_L_00_Standard_Left_handed_Vintage_Sunburst_22826053_1.jpg?v=1793711540
https://www.themusiczoo.com/products/gibson-l-00-standard-with-hifi-dna-acoustic-electric-left-handed-vintage-sunburst
