Strandberg Blog Edited

The day has finally come…We are proud to announce that we are officially a .strandberg*  Guitars dealer! All of us at The Zoo are huge fans of the .strandberg* line, and after keeping in touch with Ola Strandberg (founder of .strandberg* Guitars) for some time, we are pleased to be one of the first dealers in the US! For those of you who are unfamiliar with these guitars, Strandberg is a brand that represents ergonomics, play-ability, quality, innovation and design in an excellent sounding package. Based in Uppsala, Sweden and developed out of Ola’s passion to create a guitar that manifested all of these facets, .strandberg*’s history dates back to 1982. Since it’s beginnings, the .strandberg* brand has left a significant impression on the rock/metal/experimental music community, being the guitar of choice for many guitarists at the forefront of progressive music. Guitar players such as Tosin Abasi (Animals As Leaders), Misha Mansoor (Periphery), Chris Letchford (Scale The Summit), PLINI, and Per Nilsson (Scar Symmetry), all swear by the comfort and play-ability of .strandberg* guitars. From it’s refreshingly unique body-shape, to it’s headless design, the Strandberg is a representation of forward-thinking guitar-making.
