Combining the worlds of modern design and fine lutherie, the Pagelli Massari Super Deluxe is a one-of-a-kind instrument that’s equally at home on the stage and on display. Watch as Dennis DelGaudio of Shotgun Wedding lets us hear this beautiful guitar, and gives us an in-depth look at what makes it so unique!

Built by Swiss luthier Claudio Pagelli, The Massari features a 17″ body hand-carved from figured Oregon Myrtle for the back and sides and a solid piece of “Moon Cut” Swiss Alpine Spruce for the top. In addition to modern-styled F-holes on its top, the Massari features a soundhole on its upper bout, adjacent to the neck. The instrument’s highly figured maple neck (with a rounded “C” profile) has an Indian Ebony fretboard fitted with 22 medium jumbo frets. The bridge and tailpiece are both constructed from Indian Ebony as well. Combined with the deep Black transparent finish and Celluloid binding, the Indian Ebony details make for an unquestionably stunning guitar, both visually and sonically. The bright and focused unplugged sound is channeled through a neck-mounted Haeussel pickup. Scroll down to view exclusive photos of this one-of-a-kind guitar!
