The Music Zoo is always impressed by the quality Martin Guitars brings to the table, and the Martin D-10E is no exception. Martin Road Series D-10E Dreadnought Tone

The Martin D-10E delivers crisp, clear tone with a slightly more-prominent high-end thanks to the Sapele top option. Cutting through mixes is a breeze for this reason, making this model an excellent choice for gigging musicians playing in a group atmosphere. The Sitka Spruce top option offers slightly more dynamic range, which we think is better suited for the studio. Also new to this model is the Fishman MX-T electronics package with a built-in soundhole tuner that auto mutes the audio output so you can tune up any time without using a pedal.

Martin Road Series D-10E Dreadnought Feel

This model has an FSC Certified Richlite fingerboard and bridge, satin finish body, and a hand-rubbed neck finish. If you're a strummer or a single-tone-picker, changing positions won't be a problem on this guitar. The smooth neck and comfortable fretboard welcomes all playing styles!

Why We Like It

No part of the Martin D-10E is overbearing. While the Sapele top option brings out the high-end, the guitar remains balanced enough with both top options to occupy various styles and offers the clear and resonant tone that we've come to expect from C.F. Martin guitars. The convenient Fishman MX-T electronics don't color the natural tone of the instrument either, and merely amplifies the exceptional tone the guitar brings all on it's own. We think the tuner-mute functionality is a great feature as well!
