NAMM 2016: Video – Chip Ellis Showcases the EVH Wolfgang USA Tour Relic Replica

NAMM2016 EVH has announced an exciting, limited run 20 piece run of The EVH Wolfgang USA Tour Relic Replica. First spotted on Van Halen’s 2015 World Tour, this guitar actually received detailed relic treatment by Master builder Chip Ellis so that the original coat of black paint shows through the ivory top coat! It looks amazing!

Eddie compares this to his “Trusty old stealth, and the white guitar sounded better, so it immediately became my main guitar for rehearsals and the tour.” He also sanded the back of the neck and it’s just a bit fatter than the Stealth’s neck.

This custom-built instrument features an ebony fingerboard, block fretboard inlays, a custom killswitch, EVH Custom High Friction Tone Pot, an EVH High Performance Upgrade, and a custom-made low fiction pot.
