Video: Dave Ellefson’s 2012 Jackson Basses
Posted on by ZooKeeper
NAMM 2012 We caught up with the great Dave Ellefson (Megadeth) behind the scenes at this year’s NAMM show and got the inside scoop on what’s coming in the world of Jackson basses. Not only is Dave a longtime endorser with his own signature basses, but he’s been tapped as a resource by the Jackson brass to guide and influence the brand of Jackson basses overall. This is great news; Dave is the perfect guy to help Jackson basses further their hard rocking identity while also bringing a hefty dose of innovation to the table. Dave showed us some of the Custom Shop basses that he designed along with Masterbuilder Mike Shannon (who also built them). These basses look terrific and hopefully foreshadow things to come from Custom Shop and import as well.
