ESP Guitars

ESP is a pioneering Japanese guitar maker who originally proved that Japan can build guitars capable of going head-to-head with American-made guitars. Starting in the 1970s, ESP produced parts and necks for other guitar makers and eventually started building their own full-blown custom pieces. Superstar guitarist George Lynch stumbled across ESP's custom guitars in Japan in 1986, and his signature Kamikaze signature ESP was born, catapulting ESP onto the world stage. Today, ESP has an impressive roster of endorsers and produces a full line of products, from entry level guitars to handcrafted custom pieces. The guitars pictured here are in stock and individually photographed.

ESP LTD Elite ST-1 Electric Guitar See-Thru Black
We're very excited to offer the brand new for 2013 Elite Series from ESP LTD. LTD (as well as us here at the Zoo) often heard comments from players that they wanted the high-quality build of the ESP guitars, however many of them were just too far out of their budget - they were also looking for an upgrade from LTD models that were more aimed towards the mid-level or beginning player, essentially there was a need for a guitar that was right below the cost of a super high-end ESP, but without the high-end price tag.

And thus, the LTD Elite Series was born. The Elite models are made in the same Japanese factory and crafted by the same talented luthiers who build every ESP guitar, and are loaded with great player-friendly features such as Seymour Duncan or EMG pickups, fast-playing neck contours, and Gotoh tuners for reliable tuning stability.

The Elite ST-1 is built for speed, looks, and versatility thanks to the beautiful flame maple top along with the HSS configuration of the EMG 8 bridge humbucker along with the EMG SA single-coils in the neck and middle positions. Add in the Floyd Rose bridge and locking nut - and you've got a guitar that's ready for those extreme divebombs and screams without knocking your tuning out of whack.

ESP USA M-III See-Thru Black
ESP's USA M-III guitar comes from the company's recently opened American factory, situated in North Hollywood, California. The guitar is 100-percent USA-made and it represents the best quality and craftsmanship that ESP offers, and it's evident when you play it: superb acoustic resonance and volume unplugged, wonderfully easy to play (it was perfectly tuned out of its case), and responsive to your playing--whether you're shredding or playing R&B chords or shimmering, glassy chords with a bit of whammy bar dimension. The M-III is what you'd expect from an ESP guitar.
