The Louis KR-M12 head (circuit-wise) is identical to the combo version of the amp, but it isn't simply just a head combined with any ordinary cabinet. This KR-M12 head comes with a cabinet designed to match and compliment the tone of the head, and interact with it in a completely different way than it would as a combo amplifier, which can be described as "bigger, and more open."

The cabinet is an open-back 2x12" porthole cabinet made of pine, with dovetailed joints and loaded with Celestion G12H-30s.
