Music Man Guitars

With roots going back to 1974, Music Man guitars and basses have been on the front lines of contemporary music for decades. In 1984, Ernie Ball (whose son Sterling Ball was already a longtime Music Man employee) took ownership of Music Man and still operates it today. This family-owned business is a now a giant of the music industry and continues to make high-quality, innovative new guitars and basses in the United States. Artists who have used Music Man guitars are diverse; Albert Lee, Eddie Van Halen, John Petrucci, Paul McCartney, and Steve Lukather have all been supporters. The guitars pictured here are in stock and individually photographed.

Ernie Ball Music Man Ball Family Reserve JPX7 John Petrucci Electric Guitar Barolo
The Ball Family Reserve John Petrucci JPX7 is a very versatile axe that can handle whatever you throw at it. The guitar is built of a chambered alder body with a maple top and mahogany tone block, mahogany neck, an ebony fretboard, 25.5" scale length and a Barolo finish. The electronics are a DiMarzio Liquifire neck humbucker and a Crunch Lab bridge humbucker, and a piezo pickup in the floating bridge. The guitar sounds great, both pickups provide clarity and punch no matter what level of gain, and the piezo is excellent for switching over to clean passages. The very comfortable and fast playing neck will leave you not wanting to put this guitar down.
