Charvel Guitars
In November 1978, Wayne Charvel sold his company he founded earlier that decade, Charvel's Guitar Repair, to one of his employees, Grover Jackson. Jackson promptly began building highly regarded electric guitars bearing the Charvel name, and those original San Dimas-built Charvel guitars of the late '70s/early '80s have become full blown collectibles today. In 2002 Fender Musical Instrument Corporation bought Charvel, and has preserved the tradition of high-performance guitars. The Music Zoo has been working with Charvel to bring our customers some very special and unique special runs of retro San Dimas® Charvel guitars. We have rolled out the San Dimas® Natural series, and the Nitro Aged San Dimas®; both have been warmly received by the guitar community. We are proud to also carry many of the unique one-off guitars that are coming out of the Charvel Custom Shop, as well as the new USA Production Models. visit charvel.com
