THD BiValve 30 Class-A Guitar Amp Head
This pre-owned THD BiValve 30 guitar amp is in very good condition, with some slight tarnishing on its chrome cage. It otherwise looks and sounds great. The BiValve 30 is 30-watt head that combines two 15-watt single-ended Class-A amps in parallel to create the rated 30 watts. These amps are self-biasing, allowing players to use various different octal-based output tubes such as EL34s, 6L6s, 6550s, KT88s, and 6V6s, in any combination you wish. The amp has a high-cut filter switch ("Cut"), a driver tube response control ("Attitude"), a high/low power switch that behaves like a variac, and--the piece de resistance--a built in THD Hotplate attenuator for gain at low volumes (the amp does not have a master volume). The amp also has a noise reduction circuit, line out, and an active effects loop. This is the 8th BiValve off the production line, and it has a rare chrome cage rather than the typical black one. Comes with a carry case.
