PRS Wood Library Custom 24 Semi-Hollow and DGT Guitars Coming to The Music Zoo!
What makes a PRS Wood Library Guitar Special?
There's nothing nicer than driving over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge on the way to the Paul Reed Smith factory, day dreaming about all of the awesome guitars you're about to spec! On a recent trip to the factory, The Music Zoo decided on two runs of Wood Library Guitars - 10 DGTs and 10 Custom 24 Semi-Hollows.
You might ask yourself what makes a Wood Library guitar different than a Core model or even a Private Stock? The Wood Library essentially opens up all PRS Core models to be tweaked with different wood combinations and finish/inlays of a dealers choosing. Perhaps you want a Custom 24 with an amazing 10-top flame maple cap, but want it with a full rosewood neck and a swamp ash body? How about a Tremonti model with a cocobolo neck and Artist Grade quilt top? All possible with the Wood Library! Wood Library allows The Music Zoo to take the Core guitars we love and pick our own wood combinations making each guitar a possible 1 out of 1, if no one has ever done that combination before!
DGT and Custom 24 Semi-Hollows Coming to The Music Zoo!
There will be 10 Custom 24 Semi-Hollow Models. There are five with 10-Top flame maple tops, korina bodies and necks with ebony fretboards. The other half are with 10-top quilt maple tops, mahogany body, mahogany necks and cocobolo fretboards.
There will also be ten DGT David Grissom signature model guitars. Five with 10-top quilt maple tops over mahogany bodies, with East Indian rosewood necks and Brazilian rosewood fretboards. The second half of the runs is 10-top flame maple tops over korina bodies with korina necks and Brazilian rosewood fretboards.
Now let's see those tops! Each of these is individually numbered, so it's easy to pick out which might be your next PRS.
