Gibson Announces New CEO and Senior Leadership Team Members

One of the most recognized names in the guitar industry has recently announced their new President and CEO, James Curleigh. As former President of Levi Strauss & Co., Curleigh is no newbie when it comes to brand building, bringing along a great deal of experience from his time at the iconic clothing company.

In addition to this major change of hands, Gibson has also appointed new members to their leadership team, namely Cesar Gueikian as CMO (chief merchant officer); Kim Mattoon as CFO (chief financial officer); and Christian Schmitz as CPO (chief production officer), all of whom will begin their new roles starting November 1, 2018. We're all excited to see what these new roles will mean to the product-side of Gibson in the near-future!
