She's been slinging gear for well over a decade, and brought her skills to The Zoo in 2009. You'll catch Jess playing drums and guitar in various rock and metal bands in New York. Her favorite players include Ritchie Blackmore and Tony Iommi. It's also possible she is the secret love child of Nikki Sixx and Lita Ford.

Nick Post grew up in Massachusetts, and played guitar and bass in Boston-based indie bands for years until he making the move to New York. He found a home almost immediately at The Music Zoo, and has been sharing his love for guitars with his customers ever since. He also has an unhealthy obsession with recording gear, and when not gigging with his New Wave Synth-Punk band, loves staying home and cooking.

She plays lead guitar in a '90s riot grrrl cover band, as well as plays guitar and fronts hard rock / metal band DRELLA.

Sam graduated from Berklee College of Music in 1981 with a performance diploma in music. He moved to NYC in 1982 and has been making a living playing and teaching drums ever since. He has performed with jazz artists Dizzy Gillespie, Kevin Eubanks, Victor Bailey, Mike Stern, Ralph Moore, Ursula Dudziak, David Goldblatt and many more.

Rich began playing guitar in college in an attempt to impress women. Eventually developing the courage to sing in front of a crowd, he started performing live in 2009, and even spent a year in the UK playing various pubs in London, Wales and Scotland. Now he gigs frequently around NYC while patrons hilariously request "Freebird" a dozen times a night. He's also dabbling in stand-up and is pretty funny.

Andrew is our accountant, a huge hockey fan and a beer connoisseur. He is unusual in regards to our staff, in that, he prefers to listen to his music rather than perform his own. But while he can't even play a simple G chord, he still manages to enjoy every minute of his employment at The Zoo.

Bobby is a songwriter and bassist, who has performed in a number of Top 40 cover bands since 1977 and lived through the heyday of the rock scene in New York City. He worked for Music Services in Wantagh, NY with legendary proprietor Gary Blankenburg, and presently consults on vintage and used gear for The Music Zoo.

Gary has been a guitar fanatic for decades and has the worst case of GAS we've ever seen. He has owned and run Music Services for many years and virtually every guitar player in NYC and Long Island has dealt with him at some point.
