Once your item is ready, ship it to The Music Zoo. We can even assist by scheduling a pick up or providing you with a prepaid label. Be sure to insure your guitar for full value. If you're local, feel free to come to our Long Island, New York showroom during our normal hours, no need to ship your instrument.


Photograph Your Guitar We'll Photograph Your Gear

Once your item arrives, we'll take a series of photographs that make your instrument shine. Well-lit, beautifully photographed instruments are the cornerstone of a great online listing.


List Online We'll List Your Item Online

The Music Zoo maintains an award-winning website and your guitar will get the same exposure we give our own. We'll write a thorough description, and post it to our Pre-Owned Guitar page. It will also be featured on our New Arrivals page and be included in a Newsletter to our entire database of potential buyers. Additionally, all consigned instruments are listed for sale in numerous online selling channels including sites like eBay.  We handle the customer service and fulfillment once the item sells.


You Get Paid You Get Paid

Our turn around time on trades is quick. Once we receive your used guitar, the new one will be sent right away.  If you prefer to sell your guitar to us outright, we'll cut a check the same day. Or, once a consigned item sells and we finalize the deal, get paid quickly by check or use the funds for store credit, the choice is yours.
