Video: Up Close With Eddie Van Halen’s 1980s Kramer

Ever wonder what it would feel like to hold one of Eddie Van Halen’s personal tour guitars from the 1980s, then plug it in, and crank it up?  That’s exactly what Tommy Colletti does in this exclusive new video.  We’ve posted detailed photos and info about this guitar before; it’s got a very interesting history and has a lot of cool “Eddie” features that give insight into his vision.  This is a bona fide Eddie Van Halen Kramer touring guitar that Ed gave to his friend Vitas Gerulaitis as a gift, now owned by The Music Zoo.  Sadly Vitas passed away at a relatively young age, leaving behind a sizeable guitar collection, and Tommy purchased this guitar from Vitas’ sister.  It’s the real deal, and we thought you’d enjoy getting a personal tour of this piece of rock history.
