Yuriy Shishkov Masterbuilt Diamond Legend Cabronita
NAMM 2013 We couldn’t have asked for a cooler guitar to greet us at the pre-NAMM Fender Custom Shop extravaganza – this is one that just makes you shake your head in disbelief. It is the Diamond Legend Cabronita, built by the incredibly talented Fender Master Builder Yuriy Shishkov.
The Diamond Legend Cabronita is the definition of exquisite. Not only does the guitar have an alder body with 4A-quilted maple top and back, a hand-rubbed black transparent stain, and a 4A-birdseye maple neck…Yuriy outlined the body with 377 real 8.5 carat diamonds, and very tastefully so – if you ask us. This guitar was just an all-around work of art, and with a price tag of $120,000 it’s up there in the fine-art price range, too. This was just a great guitar to set the mood for the Music Zoo’s NAMM 2013, and we were more than happy to see it.
