As a company that takes their Relics very seriously, we’re very excited to offer the Fender Custom Shop 20th Anniversary series. The 20th Anniversary Series takes it back to the 1995 NAMM show, the first year that the Fender Custom Shop revealed two Relics; a ’56 Mary Kaye Strat and a ’51 Nocaster. These guitars looked so close to the originals that they fooled everyone who came across them.
Fender has remade those two original Relics. This Strat features a Vintage Blonde finish on a lightweight ash body, 10/56” Large V 1-piece maple neck, and Handwound Fat ‘50s pickups for that classic Strat chime. In a tribute to the original year, only 95 of each instrument have been made.
