A Greg Fessler Masterbuilt recreation of a very famous Strat - this is a guitar inspired by Eldon Shamblin's gold finished '54 Stratocaster, featured on page 128 of the amazing piece of guitar literature "Galaxy of Strats". The guitar has an Aged Gold over Black finish to replicate the greening of the original, with the black chicken head knobs to stay faithful. Add in the sparkling Custom Shop '54 Strat pickups, and the guitar sounds just as gold as it looks. Lest we forget, the guitar comes in just under 7 lbs, great for those long sessions!
