This is the 1963 Les Paul SG Custom...the last year in which the 'Les Paul' moniker was used on the SG-style of guitar, but also the first year of the Maestro vibrola tailpiece. As one thing ends, another one starts. This Custom Shop reissue is gorgeous with its gloss Classic White finish and gold hardware with all of the Custom appointments: a split diamond headstock inlay and mother of pearl blocks. The tone is produced by two Custombucker Alnico 3 humbuckers all wired up with CTS pots and Black Beauty caps. If you want a world class SG, you'd be hard pressed to find a better one than this!
