Jeff Beck YardBurst 1959 Les Paul Standard Dark Cherry Sunburst Item Description
Built by the Gibson Custom Shop to pay tribute to one of the greatest guitarists of all time- this is the Jeff Beck "Yardburst" 1959 Les Paul, released on June 24th which coincides with Becks birthday. It's a recreation of the 1959 Sunburst Les Paul which Beck played in his early days with the Yardbirds. There are onle 130 of these guitars made worldwide, this one is number 88. Each top was hand-selected to match closely to the figuring of the original guitar and they are all finished in Dark Cherry Sunburst, then aged by the Murphy Lab to also recreate the look of the original guitar. This YardBurst is complete with a vintage-style strap and the guitars signature look: a single-ply black pickguard fitted against a set of double classic white pickup bobbins.
