New for 2018 is the Ibanez Nu Tubescreamer ! This modern take on a classic overdrive pedal is powered by Korg's Nutube. This mini tube may not look like a traditional 12AX7, but this small footprint piece of engineering is built the same way - with anode grid filament construction. It operates just like any typical triode tube, therefore, it provides rich harmonics, and a very pleasing gain structure and break-up. The new Ibanez "NTS" or Nu Tubescreamer uses the Nutube to provide a truly tube-enriched tone. The pedal also features a new blend control which lets you mix the clean and overdriven signals. It can also operate at 9 volts because of the Nutube's low current draw.
